I read somewhere that selling gaming consoles is illegal in China. Is this actually enforced? I want to buy a 360 controller to use on my computer and I'm wondering how hard it is to find a place to buy it.

there are many video game stores in the bird and flower market (ironically) otherwise you can most probably find one in one of the computer malls on or around 121 street. otherwise find a friend that can help you buy it on taobao, that's where everything comes from anyway.
