I currently have a router that has WiFi and four ports for wired connections. I need to get more wired connections, with two in the next room.

My alternatives are to get an eight port router and run my two cables, or a switch, and run one cable.

I can't seem to find either a switch or the larger router. Does anyone know where I might find either one?

You should be able to find them at any computer cities around town. They are called 交换器(jiao1 huan4 qi4). There's one on 121 street by Yunda's North gate.
