For what it's worth. I had gall bladder surgery a couple of years ago at the No.1 teaching hospital and was very impressed with my whole experience - seriously, I don't think it could have been any better in North America. Maybe Chinese patients weren't always enjoying the place, but I was given VIP treatment. I should confess a personal friendship with one of the doctors ... but I can't see why one should go to Thailand.
