Does anyone know of a good place to buy good quality transitional glasses? Thanks for any help!

What are transitional glasses?

There is place to buy top of the line glasses on Hui Guo Lu near the intersection of Tuo Dong Lu. It's 1 block north of the Bank Hotel. They carry Transitions brand lens as well as premium frames.

Transition lenses are glasses that act like sunglasses outside, and regular glasses inside. They adjust the darkness of the lenses to the amount of sunlight.

Transitional glasses nowadays mean that if you look out the top of your glasses you can see far away clearly; if you look through the bottom part of your glasses you can see small print; and if you look through the middle of the glasses you see mid range. When you look at someone wearing these glasses you have no idea that the glasses can do all that because they are "transitional" and you don't see any lines!

And my glasses also have the option of turning dark in the sunshine,as Ouyang describes.

We call those lenses "progressive" back home, becuse the lenses progresively change from top to bottom. I have a pair myself. The Transitions(tm) that they sell there darken as they are exposed to sunlight.They said they were able to do both of these types of lenses there. Just get to the Bsnk Hotel and your almost there.
