Cost of iPhone screen

Apple sources screens from a variety of vendors and assembles them predominantly in China. iPhone 6 replacement screens vary from ¥120-200+ depending on WHERE you go to replace it. You should expect to pay around ¥200-ish to include installation and USUALLY they can install it while you wait (but they MAY need to have the screen delivered from a nearby supplier).

As a frequent iPhone screen abuser - I frequently use the small iPhone repair store on the computer (and food etc) alley across from the Yunda Beimen Gate (nearby the Beimen O'Reilly's). Fast, reliable, reasonable prices and NEVER have problems until the phone goes skittering across the prolific and pervasive concrete of Kunming...or it goes swimming in various puddles of liquids.

Sounds like I was way overcharged then :(
I paid about ¥400 for the whole process of replacement screen and installation. They added a little screen protection thing onto the new screen as a little added extra though but still not making up for the cost.

They're just another iphone store near the Starbucks at the Aegean mall.

@redjon, I am guessing you went to an approved Apple repairer. This is what I am looking for. I was told recently that Apple (official stores) will now refuse to work on any phone if they think it has been touched by a non Apple repairer. For most that would never be a problem, but if something bigger goes wrong, it could be.
