I just bought some beef from Carrofour a few days ago. I looked at it this morning only to discover hundreds of white worms crawing out from inside.
Cannot post photos here, but they are quite visible!

ok for household wares but stopped buying any 'fresh' food there after playing spot the rat a few years back (Beijing Lu branch). I used to entertain little kids by pointing out rodents as they scuttled across the overhead fittings.

Well that is what you get buying at Carrofour which is a fake Carrefour ;-)

Always avoid the meat section at C4 in general but wherever I eat out or buy to cook in Kunming I think you run the risk with the fresh meats!

Stick with the packaged goods in the supermarkets.

I bought some apple juice from Walmart, I drank the first 7/8ths of it and when I emptied the dregs into the glass there was something slimey in the bottom, it looked like a jellyfish.

I wasn't best pleased.
