They're building a roller coaster at the French Village. There's also a lake, a pirate ship, and a large but disappointingly easy maze. Anyone know what else is going in?

I think it's called Kunming 1903 Park. No idea why. You can see it from HuPan, although you can't get to it from HuPan - you have to go down QianWeiLu. The roller coaster looks suspiciously like the one at Daguan Park. Has anyone reported a missing roller coaster recently?

Just goes to show how you can live here for years and still not know much of the city.

I've been to the 1903 french 'village'. It has a church, and a weird modern building which is a kind of like the famous one in the financial district of Paris, and various buildings that are reasonably pleasing on the eye but of course mostly empty. There were no mountains or rollercoasters I could see when I went about 6 weeks ago. Of course, there could be a small one that escaped my notice (I have rode past 1903 a couple of days ago)

Or they have built one since you last went.
