thats good hygiene. dont flush the toilet as people who has just wiped ther butt has touched the handle. ditto fawcet, so dont touch it after you wash your hands. toilets are dirty places has been made a self fulfilling prophecy by such habit. i have been to toilets that look like the one in trainspotting.

It'll be some worldly experience for them - even water costs money. Then again, why wouldn't the school just add it on to the bill for boarding?
