Has anyone downloaded Win10 from a western server. Download in English.
I am not really interested in suggestions how I might do it, as winding back to previous versions of windows and trying again is not really an option I want to take on.
I have a computer purchased in China. The service centre says it cannot be changed to English.
I know that you can set up a user, as English language. But It does not seem possible to change the language of the OS. I had this before and only half of the desktop is in English. This means I cannot do much of my own maint.
Has anyone downloaded Win10 English version.
I think your stuck upgrading Chinese to Chinese.

I heard MS will upgrade even pirated win7. This was specifically done to try to get China on board with win10. So maybe install win7 English pirated, then upgrade. But my guess, is you're trying to avoid a reinstall, so probably not a good option.
Dowbload it via torrent.
You can find it here.

I don't want Windows 10. What happens if you turn off Windows Update? Does it prevent Microsoft sneakily starting an upgrade?
When I bought my computer in 2010 I ordered an English version of the O/S
@tiger
I bought my computer in China but the Win7 [original copy] language is set to English, thanks to the nice shushu who set it up for me in the shop.
When it harrasses me to upgrade to win10 and the test upgrade I made, stayed in English. If it's Chinese, then I dunno.
Illegal copies of win7 most def don't upgrade for free. Some of our IT geniuses in the office were smart enough to try (of course without making backup's, or getting new copies of win7).
So another afternoon of reinstalling computer softwares.
Was funny when I asked them, why didn't they run a baidu or yahoo search, about the issue.
You have never seen faces that red. Strangely, they are very uncooperative when it comes to me and helping with my computer fixes. Good that I don't need those knuckleheads.

There are already walkthroughs online, on how to turn of the upgrade stalking, if it bothers you. What I heard is, that after July and expiry of the free upgrade, you won't be bothered daily, but only occassionally and reminded it's not free to upgrade anymore.
Actually, I like that about Apple products, there at least you know, that nothing is free and everything is really expensive. No freebies and deadlines....just $$$$¥¥¥£££€€€...lol
