I'll be relocating to Kunming from another city in China for a new job. I have a son with autism who thrives by being able to go outside and play. Are there any apartments in Kunming with private fenced in yards available to rent? If so, where? Price? In our previous city we had this type of apartment and it was perfect for my son's special needs. I've heard Chuang Yi Ying Guo may be the place?

I know of 云大知成(Yunda Zhicheng), not in the city centre but plenty of ground floor apartments with a back garden. I think you'd be looking at around 2000 a month.

There are a lot of apartments in the development around Beichen walking street that have gardens on the ground floor.

I used to live in ChuanYi Yingguo, part of it does have a kind of garden area. Where I live now, Sheng Gao Da Cheng, has large gated gardens.

There's a complex in Cheng Gong (south of Kunming) with yards, Yi Ming Yuan. We looked at one last week, 3000/month
