You've got to be kidding. Those complaining and accusing come from nations and regions that are guilty of worse than a couple of unpleasant remarks by nongs or a few Chinese men who reached the age of marriage but can't afford a wedding. Whites have had and still have educated, scholars, politicians men who militate against letting their White women get with non-Whites, despite many wanting to do so. It's well documented that White men show hatred towards interracial couples involving White women (ask any Black man) and they have even gone as far as creating organised racist groups where prohibiting White women to date non-Whites is on the agenda and ratifying laws prohibiting non-White men marrying White women. You can't be more ridiculous complaining about a few pathetic insecure guys mumbling their disaproval when seeing women of their nationality or ethnicity with other men who were incapable of having a stable relationship back home and had to fly 10,000km kilometers to finally find a woman. This doesn't get anywhere near the level of hatred and racism that White men have had throughout history.
You've got to be kidding! Show me where, in this day and age, there are laws, existent or proposed, that prohibit non-White men marrying White women. Certainly not in the US or Canada. That BS went out of favor more than a half century, or more, ago and does not exist.
Labeling men as incapable of having stable relationships because they are in relationships with Chinese women is an ignorant cheap shot.
As for racial hatred and racism, the Chinese do pretty well in that category, as well as any ethnic group I have ever run into.
Only a racist and hater would come out with an ignorant comment like that above.
Hope to get a reply from the OP about the questions I posted above and hopefully get the thread back on TOPIC. Interesting topic!
Racism is alive and well in many places, though it is fading in many others, and overall I think, despite steps backward induced by, say, large numbers of refugees driven out of their homes by economic conditions or bombs. Law almost everywhere is less racist, and sometimes squeaky-clean non-racist. but Law, ideas, feelings, behavior & attitude are not necessarily the same thing, and don't change overnight.
Yes, prejudicial & sometimes racist comments arise in China too, especially concerning sexual relations/marriages.
So what else is new?
totally agree with Geezer, someone is not to bitter and angry or just badly informed.
According to 2007 Gallup poll only about 18% of Americans disapproved of interracial marriage.
THE RACE CONCEPT, Banton & Harwood, 1975 - it's still alive and well.
and most them probably live in a few southern states
Alien, really i thought this was 2015 and you are going to use a piece from 1975.
