@real deal
actually and factually,.... it.s not.

run the numbers, minus the guns in china,compare the official numbers, if there are, give a rough percentage of the inofficial or estimates, and be amazed.

if numbers are not enough think, why should china be safer than any other place? especially knowing its social structure and workings.

Dudesons, because the average walk down the street in China does not involve violence. I an walk down almost any street in China without getting hassled. In the US, it is a different story.

i agree with the walk in china. but america being a war zone is actually to be proven wrong.

it.s perceived crime. exeggerated by movies and media. in the u.s. crime is felt more. in other countries it.s less....including china.

Dudesons, I lived in South Central Los Angeles. I do not know the stats, but I can assure you that China is a Kindergarten by comparison.

The Dudeson's (1106 posts) • 0

as i said give me the stats and we compare it to kunming.

it.s what i am accused of. ...being paranoid, run the numbers, carefully. count out the guns, add the violent crimes in china that aren.t actual crimes. or take out the ones from the states. run it per capita, and voila....
and why wouldn.t it? i mean why do people really think china is extraordinary safe? because chinese mainlanders are known for caring more abou others? or for having an extremely efficient police? or crime. prevention system? or the law being enforced more?.....come on, give me some credit here. if you think i am a jackass, no problem !but use logic, or run the numbers.

Dudesons, I do not care so much about mathematical statistics (though I still think they would support me), nor do I have time to write a dissertation for an internet forum. I know what I know. In LA, a walk down many streets was asking to get beaten or killed. In China, I have walked everywhere, even at night, with no problems. That is my reality.

You say so many negative things about China, but you have not answered the fundamental question: do you like, or dislike, China, overall?
