Yes there are. In fact, there are actually quite a few so the cost is pretty low comparatively. Are you a student? If so which University. I teach at KMUST and live about 20 minutes away walking. Within that walk there are 4 gyms I pass

Yes, there is one near the KTV of XuXan Dadi, I'm a member myself and it's cheap: 300 bucks/year. They got dozens of machines, ping pong, snooker, everything. Let me know if you need help finding it, I can show you around.
