I know this question has been asked over and over again, i am looking now for more up to date information.

I will be in kunming the next months and want to practice with a genuine Master chen- or yang style taiji doesn't matter but the good master.
i found two schools in the web (i can't post the links, but there names are kmtjq.c_o_m and cntjq.n_e_t), both chen style i think, i hope anyone can tell something about them or about your experience in learning taiji in kunming.

i would also be glad to practice with a master or group in the parks, i am disciplined and can do a lot by my self after being instructed by a master.

Yunda has a genuine Taiji master who teaches general LuoHan (?) Taiji in the mornings on Saturdays - green lake campus, starting around 0930 to around 1000. I met him and one of his senior students (a Yunda faculty/teacher) a couple of times, and chatted during breaks.

Last time I passed by - he had several students. I observed his movements, his stances (he's elderly) - he has strength, stability, and strong stances. His movements fluid and his foundations and knowledge of close-combat grappling and joint locking appear excellent.

This is a close combat martial art - similar perhaps to Chen style - so if you want to pickup taiji without losing the combat benefits, this style and its master are excellent IF he agrees to take you as an informal student (for a somewhat nominal informal monthly fee). His son teaches formal classes in some of the major shopping centers, if you want something more rigorous, formal and costly.

thank you laotou, i will check this when i am there, to be honest i started taiji im wudang mountains which is close to yang style, then learned some chen style taiji and now i don't tend to start another style but it is worth taking a look any way.
