I just realize .. I have a travel Berkey ... They are great filters... But more like a portable or a Brita on Steroids .... The Aquasana I use for all my cooking soup pasta bread etc ...you need some of the minerals for breads and rising etc .... If just for drinking water sure I can see the Berkey being great and cheaper. I use filtered water for everything except the shower in Dali... But probably should get a shower filter as well. In Beijing I used a shower filter in fact you had to.
Ps the full house aquasana is just 10000 to 16000 depending on your flow.
A SHOWER FILTER?? Really?
Actually the Berkey is not just for drinking water. It also is used for all your water for cooking, coffee, stc. All the minerals are left intact in the water it processes.
@alien hot shower opens the pours and you actually absorb more of the chemicals as well as breathing then in with steam. In Beijing almost more important then the drinking water.
yeah but given all that foul air you were breathing in beijing, i doubt a shower filter made much of a difference.
Sounds like when a person eats a greasy hamburger and has a 'diet' coke. Ha..Ha.
Had 3 air filters. Steam penetrates the lungs at a higher rate as well as your skin breathes and absorbs it. Burger and diet coke for sure. Whole wheat bun. Deep fried chicken burger large fries gravy and diet coke.
I finally have processed all the BS and my initial order of Berkey purifiers are here!
I will bundle the Big Berkey system with the filter primer as a complete set. The primer is an important tool needed to properly set up the Berkey before initial use.
I set up a system and tested it at my place, and the results are as expected. Finally I have great tasting/looking water.
If you are interested in obtaining one, see my previous posts how to contact me directly.
I will provide the Big Berkey system for 4199 RMB.
Glad you got all your import issues sorted out.
