Here was me clicking on this topic for some info on how to pull a Chinese girl, how gutted am I? nah lol, I'm married and this was just one obvious thread to check out for a bit of fun as on the laptop :o)

Hearing this makes me want to throw up, or becoming uncharacteristically and uncontrollably violent. I seriously hope that any such white guys in Kunming return to the spaces under the rocks from which they originally emerged as soon as possible, and stop breathing. I have heard racist-tinged comments, but I have never heard anybody say this kind of sh#t in 10&1/2 years here and I hope there's not much of it. Maybe I live in some kind of fantasy house without windows, but has anybody else heard this, personally?
What they mean is that they don't approve White women dating outside of their race (not Asians in particular), while they do so themselves. Plantation behaviour.
@Alien, yes I've heard it many, many, many times in China and North America. Pretty common complaint for multi-racial kids whose mom is "white" and dad isn't. Whereas all my friends who had the reverse situation with a white dad and non-white mom usually got comments about how cute and exotic their mother was.
and @yankee, its not just plantation behavior. I know numerous rich Indian, Thai and Chinese families who think their sons having a white girlfriend/wife is a trophy, but their daughters/other women marrying a white guy is tantamount of betraying their entire culture and race.
@atwillden, true. A lot of this kind of behaviour also happens in China, although I've also seen Chinese guys encouraging their Chinese female friends to meet White guys, mostly for the wrong reasons.

Some of it isn't said verbally. A member of my family had hunting rifles shove into his face by his wife's father and brothers when they started dating to dissuade him from seeing their White sister/daughter. Similarly, the father of my cousin's ex girlfriend disapproved of the relationship because he was mixed and she had full Chinese ancestry.
I personally have seen some real nasty racist muck. Its disgusting and thankfully in my country (Ireland) becoming less and less of an issue.
White isn't even low on the Chinese heirarchy. Wait till you hit Cambodian, Vietnamese, Philppino, Mexican, African.
I saw this perspective from an Asian woman, and it made me chuckle.
