My first post here.
Does anybody know of a place to stay in Kunming, that is used to people with touring bikes, that has a secure space inside to store it. I will only be in town for one or two nights, and my budget is under 100Y a night. Would prefer a place that is not in Lonely Planet.

Don't know what's in lonely planet or not, but the Hump lets you (in fact strongly encourages you) to carry your bike upstairs into the lounge/bar area. Lost Garden lets me park inside when I go there for meals, and could probably sort a space for you.

Have you heard if Lost Garden is a good choice to stay.

Lost Garden is a fine place to stay, but your budget means dorm. Cloudland has a courtyard to leave your bike, but it's in the LP.
