For those of you interested in jazz, Salinger Cafe will be hosting a jazz party Friday night. From 8 'til 9pm, we will host a discussion about jazz, and from 9pm onwards there will be lots of music and cheap cocktails for 20 yuan each. Salinger's is a great place owned by a lovely Chinese girl called Unicorn, and is a great meeting place for those who love jazz and many other kinds of music. With a big selection of imported beers, wines and spirits, Salinger's has an atmosphere that is more akin to a 1950s New York jazz club than Kunming.
