Gon La Vax is a band hailing from Ximeng Wa Autonomous Prefecture. The band members are all of Wa ethnicity and their music is a blend of traditional Wa folk music and modern rock, reggae, pop and other styles.

The two concerts in Pu'er, Friday and Saturday evening, will be their first time performing outside their home region where they've gained popularity within the local community. The band wants to bring Wa culture to places far beyond the Wa Hills and perform Wa tunes to please the ears and touch the souls of their listeners.
