Documentary movies from Canada, Taiwan and other China provinces about indigenous people, many are taken by local people and NGOs.

The festival is organised by Canada embassy and Kunming NGOs. Some Chinese and Canadian experts on movie and aboriginal culture are invited to talk in the festival. It is bilingual. The opening ceremony is in this evening in the Yunnan Uni. 云南大学人类学博物馆
