The Hutong Yellow Weasels are East Asia’s only old time American music and barn dance band, using fiddle, banjo, upright bass, guitar and sweet vocal harmonies to perform traditional folk, country, bluegrass and gospel music.
The band specializes in audience participation andteaches audiences how to do several traditional American barn dances during each show in English and Chinese.

The Weasels have played the MIDI Taihu Folk and World Music and Taihu Music festivals in Suzhou, the Echo Park, Guinness Wood and Wire, and Shanghai International Arts festivals in Shanghai, the Hefu Country Music Festival near Wuxi, the Jue, Dazefeast, Country Fair Jamboree and Jing Jam festivals in Beijing, and performed at live houses, universities and festivals in more than 20 cities across China, including team building events for factory workers in Guangzhou and for the Disney Company in Shanghai.
The Weasels played the 2015 Fourth of July party at theUS Embassy, The 2014 Canada Day celebration sponsored by the Canadian Embassy and Chamber of Commerce, and the 2015 Australian Chamber of Commerce annual gala.
