@amjec - some may believe that 20hrs will do it. why? because maybe that is what the sales at the school/farm have promised them. maybe the school that didn't promise didn't get the business this time.

agree that down the line they may not get the results they wanted but it is too far away from the point of delivery to make a direct conection. also goakao will be seen as connected to the performance of the chinese teachers not those bolt ons (us). remember that those who work at out of school hours places are not the main teacher we are an added extra to help kids get some help by doing things a bit different from the main schooling. i was going to say give them an edge, but seriously these places are not really honing kids for tests. if we believe that we are a bit fullo f ourseleves.

coz the parents want to see happy kids. happy parent = happy customer, good for business. remember most of these language schools/farms are businesses and education comes a poor second. ignoring that is naieve
