im of the school of thought that says, you can do what you want until it impinges on other peoples freedoms. i consider the right to a healthy breathing is a basic freedom. main point of law in eu is to prtect the rights of workers in bars cafes who dont smoke and have to breath smoke all day. occupatioanal health issue was a major driver to get the ban put in place. i am against the ban on smoking in all public places, but think there should be limits.
