if it does i would really like to know too. sadly china cities suffer a bigger probvlem with gentrification than the west. they want urbanisation, and modernisation but many lower class people are being priced out of the cityh. they tear down the old markets and replace with new higher rent markets. that remain pretty empty. just jook at the new market next to yunfang.

if you wanna chat in a few expat bars, stay around green lake, you can walk to-from most of the bars from there. You can taxi anywhere else. if you wanna ride around the city, try to be somewhere near the metro line 1. but really, unless you play majong, drink tea, visit temples, kunming is really just aspring board to the rest of yunnan

I have seen areas of Shanghai bankrupt their own local market and collapse, due to unsustainable rents.

It is more about dumb greed of owners. If their neighbour gets 30k they want at least that, and will let property sit empty for years in the vain hope of getting the higher rent.

Swedish design ideas, kunming build quality. i have bought lots of ikea stuff in the past, the furniture at #11 are poor facsimiles of genuine item. Yes stuff is affordable, but poorly made and overpriced in my opinion. we took a good look around and looked closely at build quality and walked away.

It might be worth identifying which Prague venue you are reviewing.

When I first arrived in Kunming I did a tour of Wenlin Jie. I did't like the look of Prague.
More recently I have used Prague in Beichen a lot and I like it.
