@ gaoxing

How the hell can you represent us?
You have only been here once and hated it.
You are not even here.

How can you meet our needs?
You couldn't even meet your own!

Why don't you just stop all the self aggrandising trolling.

One month trial leading to guilty conviction and execution, perhaps.

I am a moderator on another website, not in China. What we on the Website found is that those who want to be moderators turn out to be the least suitable. We even had the difficulty of having to say goodbye to two of them. Now we never consider people who put themselves forward. We have found that those who are approached, and are somewhat reluctant at first, make better moderators.

I think someone said it. The Kunmingers lack drive. Most of the growth from ASEAN trade is already going to Chengdu, as they are more active.

Another thing. The term SME may be being misused here. My understanding of an SME is 200-6000 staff. At least 200 staff is a bigger scale than most of us envisage.

Forums > Study > Yunnan University vs. Yunnan Nationalities University

Student Dorms in Chinese universities usually suck. That is why so many people choose to live out.

Student offices usually suck too. There is no service culture here, a student is just a number/cash cow.

You should try working for a uni here, staff get treated the same. The culture is not what we are used to. I think the attitude is that it is a privilege to be able to study, and even though we pay we are not seen as 'the customer'.

Yep, their agenda seems to be censorship, in order to force thier own set of values (PC) on others. I think I heard this refered to as being a 'rigid liberal'. PC has become the new puritanism, and goes against the spirit of liberalism that gave birth to it. One of the great freedoms of living in China is freedom from PC. Long may it continue.

Glad to see some people are trying to claim some moral high ground. The funny thing about morality judgements are that are subjective and shift with time, as such should be avoided. But then this is open forum and anything goes.

The gubmint will want to consider economic development. They need to remember that Anning is part of Kunming, and any further pollution issues (they already have Dianchi mess) will hurt Kunming's tourism.

Tourism needs to be planned for, and tourism is one of the few industries where the money comes in at the bottom level and filters up.

Swedish design ideas, kunming build quality. i have bought lots of ikea stuff in the past, the furniture at #11 are poor facsimiles of genuine item. Yes stuff is affordable, but poorly made and overpriced in my opinion. we took a good look around and looked closely at build quality and walked away.

It might be worth identifying which Prague venue you are reviewing.

When I first arrived in Kunming I did a tour of Wenlin Jie. I did't like the look of Prague.
More recently I have used Prague in Beichen a lot and I like it.

Ref the comment @nonsecond about being made sick from raw apple, WTF?
