Some of the people with the worst diets I have met have been veggie. I knew one couple who lived on pizza. Obese, borderline diabetic, and bad skin.

Could be related to local mafia. If so the places are probably under new management.

That will be complying with the Chinese censors.

Customers will always say that they want quality. Espoused need.
But they will settle for lower based on what they are willing to pay. The actual demand.

There may be more people willing to pay for quality in number terms, but it may be a smaller share of a much bigger market than before. And there are more bottom feeders in the market than ever before.

Additionally, there are more of us big noses to meet the demand for teachers now.

And yes, it is the same across China.

Hopefully the local interpretation will kick in if the poop hits the fan.
I know at least one school that recruits that have lost at least one teacher because the visa application bounced. I am sure if enough public institutions have problems there will be bending.
I think the whole thing is a knee jerk reaction to the pedoes caught in schools in Shaghai and Beijing.
I think the Chinese would be better vetting thier own staff more thouroughly. The thing with the school principle in Hainan was outrageos, but I think only the tip of the iceburg. That case could not be swept under the carpet.
