tourist visa is usually 30 days. extendable once. so a one year stoodent visa with travel was nice. same fo other reasons to want extended stay. this creackdown is china wide not just kunming. some people work in hotels and reestaorants, remember not all stoodents are from rich families some are from developing countires. soem others do trading and export to friends in home countries for stuff they cannot get cheap at home and send it via mail. some are sex workers. others sex tourists. some are engaged in other criminal activities. who put the crack in crackdown?
