Thanks for the feedback on download sites for PS2. Unfortunately I can't make sense of the tgbus site at all - even when it is translated from the Chinese. Due to my limited tech skills and aversion to installing new programs I'm struggling with the btjunkie site as well.
In all honesty my preference would be to buy copied games off of someone who knows how to do this better than me. If someone out there is able to do this then I am willing to pay - there are three or four titles in particular that I would like - all for the Playstation 2. Send me a PM if you can help and thanks again!
How would you feel about a change of venue for NZ vs France if you're all planning to watch it? We have rung Samoana Cafe and they say that they are showing all RWC games - beers are 10-15 yuan. Their info can be found in gthe above post from Chris. Its not as central as Grand Park but it might have a bigger screen - and cheaper beer.
Any other Kiwis, French or anyone else for that matter should come and check out what should be the highlight of the tournament thus far...
I'm keen to watch the Champions' League coverage. I was in Kunming a couple of years ago and it was on free tv (channel 100 and something) with Chinese commentators. There also used to be Bundesliga and Serie A coverage. Has this changed? I can't find it in any case...
I wish I caught yesterday's upset when Ireland beat Australia.
And I hope a few people are keen to come and see the big game next week (at Grand Park or Samoana): NZ vs France

A massive thank you to our sponsors Coca Cola Swire Yunnan and O'Reilly's Irish Pub for all of theior support, our first aiders and everyone who helped with the organisation.
Thank you too to all of the players from all of the teams and all of the Kunming supporters who came out to watch. See you next year!
I hadn't looked at the photos before I posted them. Having done so they're nothing special. I was at Lugu Lu recently and it really is beautiful - I just hope it lasts. It's got a way to go but the warning signs of a mass tourism ala Lijiang are all in place
