Forums > Living in Kunming > China Announces ‘National Campaign to Clean Up’ In In addition to @Janjals' points, look at how the news has impacted on the stock markets. This highlights those risky markets, that at different times of our lives, may affect where people with pensions opt to spread their portfolio.
A few years ago when tensions were rising in some parts of the world, people on here were talking about the need for a Plan B or migration plan for a return home, if 'the balloon goes up'. This in turn affects the little things like, do we redecorate, buy a new sofa, new car, change the amount of money we wire home each month (can always switch back later), or do we wait until things settle down again, etc. etc.
Forums > Living in Kunming > China Announces ‘National Campaign to Clean Up’ In I would like to be able to watch youtube, often linked from home on my online newspaper. I also used to watch instructional videos.
I would also like to use FB without restrictions.
I would also like to be able to use my apps, some of which seem to have been blocked in the last month or so. Personally, I cannot see how Sworkit fitness app was a threat.
Cleanup seems to be an excuse for other purposes, which may include creating a closed market for some Chinese apps.

Forums > Living in Kunming > China Announces ‘National Campaign to Clean Up’ In People eventually do, but how many productive hours are wasted until people discover about the concept of clickbait and its potential harm. This has been a real problem for young students who waste many hours of study (or other productive) time, that they don't have to waste. Perhaps to young or naive to see that their idiosyncrasies are potentially unhelpful.
Many young people benefit from a little bit of guidance. It is a duty of the responsible adults in a young person's life, to provide such guidance.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Teaching Salaries I have usually taught what is called an academic hour. This is normally 50mins teaching time +10 mins break. The break time is included int he hour, it allows time to move between classrooms, grab a quick drink, or go pee. You should paid for the full hour.

发布者Off topic, but related to theme songs. When we watched terrestrial TV we listened to the whole theme, even if only in the background while we quickly made a cup of tea or finished off some other chore. With streaming, or watching box sets, we quickly FF over the theme song and titles. We are missing a lot of great music.
Everything else said by the last two posters can be captured within the idea that we no longer live in a society, we live in a market.
