Quick note on Metro's Rioba brand. They do several roasts but they are all the same bean. These come as whole beans or ground. Moderate quality.
One problem I have found is that there are lots of locals roasting local beans who are wanting top artisan prices, but they are not masters of the art.
As in border control, getting in and out.
We got our satnav with the car. There was a small business attached to, but separate from, the car dealer. Find a dealer who sells your make of vehicle and ask them about satnavs.
For the cost of a satnav, you could buy a tablet and mount it. Bigger than a phone and easier to read. The other advantage of a tablet is that you can mount it up on top of the dashboard. Most satnavs are built into the centre console, which means that you have to look down and take your eyes off of the road for longer. Also the apps will talk to you in your selected language.
The advantage of some satnav is that they show you what lane to be in at major interchanges, I have yet to find an app with this option. However, the one I have only has a Chinese language option. The only satnavs I have seen are complete entertainment centers, with a reversing camera. Cost about 6000 rmb.
I assume the ex-CEO of a multi-billion dollar oil company also doesn't know a 'f**king moron' when he sees one.

Great to know it is no longer dry.
Good review BTW
This has moved.
The cut flowers are about 700m east on Duonan Jie. The plants and trees are about 700 m west and follow Duocai Section.
A reasonable choice of lumber that has improved over time. Fancy hardwoods like walnut, and mahogany are in abundance. There are some plywood and rubber-wood boards available. There are also some kiln dried imported softwoods and merbao available. Some of the lumber is very green, so look for the kiln dried if you need stable timbers.
Echo everything said by others.
Breakfast great and the serve from 8am. Most other places say 9am and they still are not ready.
Sandwiches are cheap 22-32, and really packed full of filling. We got some sandwiches for a day out, the only mistake I made was ordering two, as this was too much. These are seriously good sangars, and they are wrapped in alu foil.
In fairness to Metro, they are a wholesalers, and not really a supermarket. Hence the need for a card, which can be got around.
They have improved in the year I have been away. They now carry a more consistent range of imported foodstuffs and they also seem to have sorted out the mported milk supply.
They have a wider range of electrical appliances now, there is a coice of more than one toast. There is also a better range of seasonal non foods, like clothes, shoes, garden furniture and camping gear.
Scientists "99 percent" certain SARS originated in Yunnan bats
发布者@satirical... The person who needs to read it will probably either ignore it, or not recognize themselves.
Summiting Yunnan's majestic Haba Snow Mountain
发布者Sounds like a great trip, and some very sound advice. For anyone who has not climbed or hiked at altitude before, you need to be fit to cope with heights over 4500m, and the air seems to thin exponentially above that.
Op-ed: Officials spoiling cities they should be improving
发布者In some streets trees definitely limit pedestrians, sometimes pushing them to walk in traffic..Remember, just because you have not seen it, that does not make the messenger wrong.

发布者Scientists probably have different ideas about how the virus may have been transmitted and transferred between species. Some may be fairly certain., but the cannot say with absolute certainty, and so they say that they do not know.
Why do they say this? Because even if they are '99 percent certain'some idiots will shout "FAKE NEWS, FAKE NEWS'.

发布者I live near Haigeng Park. I love the way that there is a new section of Hubin Lu that is not safe for pedestrians, and another part that is not safe for cyclists. They have now banned cycles from a section of, what was, cycle path along the side of DianChi lake.
Another example of lack of continuity. There is a huge spend to upgrade Cuihu (Green Lake) area. It would be nice if they finish the long overdue subway first. Hopefull Cuihu will be finished before we have another change of Mayor, who will focus on HIS projects as the priority.
