Thinking out of the box. Try looking for bus services on another day. If they are listed for the day you don't want, bur not listed for the day you want, you have your answer.
There might also be limited service, and no buses back after a certain time.
They upgraded us to fibre last year, but now the service also provides cable TV in the package. Internet is now worse than ever before. It is not just the size of the pipe, but the amount of traffic.
We are also supposed to have 4G in our area, but people cannot even call my mobile half the time. That is China Telecom.
If @Janjal is correct about the OP. I think competing with all of those Chinese people who are English majors, will be unrealistic.
Just get any job that pays, and save the money. While earning, you can look for a job that pays better and you might get lucky.
If you want to speak English, then maybe something in the tourism industry, but pay is always low. Alternatively, look through the listings on GoKunming, and contact every employer.
Co-habiting works, short term. However, long term, if you are different nationalities and one of you needs (or will need at some stage) a visa, is a problem.
When they first did this in Shanghai in about 2004-5, it was necessary to exit some subways stations, and cross a road to get to some rail stations. Eventually it all got sorted out.
Line 5 has not projected start date. Yet it would serve NanYa and Dianchi Road down to Dian Wei Chen.
I can only assume line 4 is the same and could be the thin purple line running NW to SE.
5 Star venue, 5 star prices. Not a helpful venue. It is so far out of town that many people who should be going may not have the time to make the trek.
A reasonable choice of lumber that has improved over time. Fancy hardwoods like walnut, and mahogany are in abundance. There are some plywood and rubber-wood boards available. There are also some kiln dried imported softwoods and merbao available. Some of the lumber is very green, so look for the kiln dried if you need stable timbers.
Echo everything said by others.
Breakfast great and the serve from 8am. Most other places say 9am and they still are not ready.
Sandwiches are cheap 22-32, and really packed full of filling. We got some sandwiches for a day out, the only mistake I made was ordering two, as this was too much. These are seriously good sangars, and they are wrapped in alu foil.
In fairness to Metro, they are a wholesalers, and not really a supermarket. Hence the need for a card, which can be got around.
They have improved in the year I have been away. They now carry a more consistent range of imported foodstuffs and they also seem to have sorted out the mported milk supply.
They have a wider range of electrical appliances now, there is a coice of more than one toast. There is also a better range of seasonal non foods, like clothes, shoes, garden furniture and camping gear.
