Forums > Living in Kunming > Kunming sucks the life out of me...

gao xing,

i would like to ask you, how long have you been here in kunming? its sad that im hearing this but making new friends and hanging out wouldnt hurt right.

about the food, i dont know where you eat but dont generalize everything because where your coming from, it might be that the bacteria your getting your body havent got it yet. what im saying is settle down and dont be such a whiner!

there is a lot of restaurants/cafe etc here which are really good, but if your picky or i dont know ahhh dont want to spend then better do your own cooking or eat what you can just pay. no offense dude. there is really a lot of alternatives.

lastly get a life, look for people you can hang out, sports, chat etc.

oh another thing, your in another country try understanding their culture before saying anything. as im concern your already making yourself look stupid.

ahmet, could be loopholes on the system. true and also havent heard of their IRS claiming or investigating things

abcd, i always wanted to be one but i just dont know how. reason for it because i wanted a good source of funding for my philanthropy works and also giving to certain foundations and helping the poor.

well if your a billionaire certainly you have the means, the power, the authority to a certain extent. your presence will surely be felt.

here we go again,

been here for a number of years and if you notice it does feel tiring at times living in kunming due to traffic.

i mean every year they fix certain roads especially beijing road.

another way if you notice they start out rebuilding or improving or change the road after a few months of congestion, traffic, etc. it does feel good to have a good flow of traffic only to have it back again after a few months.

its ridiculous really. it never ends and the worst part is their infrastructure only concentrates on what we see but they never change so much of what those cannot be seen like drainage pipe line, etc etc.

expect once rain comes in its going to be water around us for a little time.

i think the biggest issue we have to understand is how much can china govt sustain the bubble, if you notice in the news the peoples bank of china which is like the central bank of all banks already raised their interest rates

if you read it on the news youll know what it means, but to those who doesnt understand normally central banks do this to try to prevent inflation.

china economy is growing at a very fast pace that it seems there are already traces of possibility of bubble economy.

by increasing this, will lead to a stronger rmb and also control the lending or borrowing of money. such can be seen in the housing market. if a lot of people is borrowing money from banks or from the govt from housing loans it wont be long that there will be a void of money since it will take a lifetime till they completely pay for it on a normal basis.

its the job the govt to control this or else a collapse is inevitable. aside from this if you read the news, kunming present projects to improve the city and all like the subway and etc used already what should be money not just allocated for this year but for the coming couple of years.

im still waiting, as someone spoke invest when a lot of people are afraid to, so its a waiting game.
