Forums > Living in Kunming > New Spider man release date Probably august. July is China HK movie only month in theaters. Also, a risk it doesn't get released in theaters in China ever, as a couple years ago, the foreign action flix that had the misfortune to premiere during the july ban month, actually ended up being passed over totally.

Forums > Living in Kunming > Is there any cheap hotel(s) in Kunming? Even if they can, doesn't mean they will or bother. Many clerks at small places can't work the entry system for foreigner details. Sometimes you can ask to do what Alien did and get the psb involved. Most clerks aren't unwilling to call their psb if asked. But it might mean you then leaving the hotel and finding the psb on your own and then coming back. Also, cheap prices in ctrip or booking isn't always for a room, need to click through to see if it's not a bed in a dorm.
Forums > Food & Drink > Best burgers that aren't FuBar? The bias is just to how each burger tasted relative to a good burger in America. However, it does seem every Irish bar in Asia is a formula of the Irish bar in America, so it makes sense the burger tasted closer to home. If I go to an Irish bar in say Frankfurt or Budapest, is it going to resemble the one in Dublin or Chicago?
Forums > Living in Kunming > Is there any cheap hotel(s) in Kunming? Chinese citizens can get a room for 50 rmb a night. It's in a back alley in the village neighborhoods past the 2nd ring road. Room is decent sized, pretty clean, and has hot water, tv, and possibly wifi. Those kind of rooms exist throughout China, even in Shenzhen, though it's really difficult to find in a city that size. Only in smaller towns or villages, does a foreigner have a shot at renting one. Just get a dorm in a hostel as Haali suggested. With the heightened police presence and enforcement this month, no hotel is going to risk not registering.
Sichuan water release devastates parts of northwest Yunnan
发布者I rode across that bridge. It's going to be a pain to rebuild since it's isolated from any other infrastructure. Also, pretty sure there isn't a detour besides backtracking many hours.
