With the exception of people who have really significant problems with bad air, perhaps the knowledge that air quality in Kunming is not so good, compared with some (but by no means all) other places, is enough. This thread has made me aware of the fact - fine - and I've noticed it has gotten worse over the years, but it has never had any effect on my plans for the day - for how many posters is this otherwise?
I do glance at the weather reports sometimes (rain, shine, temperature) and perhaps make plans accordingly.
Comment from a longtime resident, from elsewhere, the other day: "Living in Kunming makes people pussies about the weather" - I agree, have noticed it in myself.

发布者There are economic issues concerning education in China for very poor communities, which obviously need a bigger share of the economic pie than they are getting. Yet China's 'socialist market economy' is increasing the overall level of economic resources within China.
