Yeah - Chinese culture has never included any great interest in milk products.
Rubing is fine and you can get it in many places, but for my taste it does not match up to European cheeses. Not surprising.
Slash and burn (swidden) agriculture is much more widely practiced in Laos, Thailand and Myanmar than it has been for quite a few decades in Yunnan.
Campo: Interesting post. The reasoning about the purpose of these laws may be what you say (primarily about Chinese from the 'outside', rather than actual foreign citizens, I'd imagine), but I'm not convinced. but I don't have an alternate theory right now.

Not quite what you'd call a jumping place, but not bad at all for rather standard US-type meals, not overly expensive, and with a really good salad bar that's cheap, or free with most dinner dishes after 5:30PM. Large portions, seriously so with the pizza, which is Brooklyn/American style, I guess. Convivial, conversational, good place to drink with good folks on both sides of the bar, especially after about 9PM.
Too bourgeois.
Really good pizza and steaks. The wine machine fuddles me when I'm a bit fuddled, & seems unnecessary. Good folks on both sides of the bar.

发布者Agreed, but some perhaps produce clearer and more useful problems than others. Anyway, nationalism very often scrambles brains, to irrational effect.
