Forums > Living in Kunming > Real GK Meetup I like the idea that speech can remain free here, as it does not have to lead to complications between real people in the real world of matter and the 5 senses - and even here, posters seem to want to emphasize other posters' characters, etc., rather than just deal with what they have to say about whatever the subject may be.
So I've got nothing against you, Campo, but count me out.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Your overall China/Kunming experience? @One-hit: Your first question above - probably applies to the OP that we began with.
Maybe we've done this thread to death - I hope so.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Real GK Meetup Not interested. Point of using aliases online is to remain anonymous.
Forums > Living in Kunming > What things have you literally found in China? @ dazzer: what I meant was not that I think there are many 'muppets' coming back, but that I find quite a few folks who want to use every thread to either attack or defend a whole country, its culture, food, whatever, regardless of the thread - and mostly it's those who want to attack, not defend. I don't know anybody who would defend everything about the country.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Your overall China/Kunming experience? So goldie is overall positive about China, one-hit too because he can get a job here; about laofengzi, vicar, nnoble, dazzer, Stephen, Alpage & redjon we don't know. Dudeson now says he loves China but hates Kunming but he's happy - but what part of China does he like? So only zhudan find China more negative than positive?
Suggest those who complain all the time (dudeson) stop setting up straw men (those who, they say, never see anything wrong with China & think it's all wonderful - I don't know anybody like that, foreign or Chinese) & tell us whether they're overall positive or overall negative, & if negative (like zhudan) why they stay - like I said, life's much too short.
