Thanks you Dudeson, Shyam and others..

Good point on the freebees, long term will cause problems.
"For fun" isnt much of a description for my needs, it would be for editing Paragliding clips for promo use..
I looked at vegas and was wondering about the learning curve as I've owned Sony products in the past, the old Sony interface was terrible but is much better on my handy cam.

Lots to consider, it's cold out so time to learn.

What's your suggestion for a decent HD video editing program? Not making a full length motion picture, just fun stuff. Free would be nice but pay is ok.

Paraglide Yunnan's instructor is Michel Fougere in Kunming.
Paraglide Yunnan has a sister club in Pokahra.

I, Michel Fougere is also an instructor for tandem paragliding flights at Mountain Hawk Aerosports Club in Pokhara.

If interested in joining us to come fly paraliders in Pokhara you are welcome.
You do not need experience to fly tandem with an instructor.
You can also learn to fly solo with instructions..

Nice accomplishment guys..

Lincang area mountains have been in my sights for a while.

Southern Yunnan is wonderful, we visit Jinggu (near Puer) to fly paragliders and visit mountain villages.

We developed a paragliding club and invite anyone to come and have fun or enroll in a course to learn paragliding.

Went the other night, it was very late therefore I cant coment on the food but it did smell very good..
Cozy atmosphere and very friendly host.
Will return again now that it's found!


