Behind the corner of Jin Bi Road and Beijing Road is a small road called Wu Jing Road. There you will find a large post office across the street from a large fish market. The post office has reputable dealers who sell banknotes, coins and silver Pandas. At present each Panda is 255 RMB. BTW, the fish market is one of the largest in Kunming. - The 2013 Pandas are now available.
If you look carefully you will notice that all lawns and shrubs are watered by water pumped out of the sewers or from the canals. Move to Xi Shan district where there is NO water rationing. I have been here for 5 years and never had any rationing here.

From the South Bus Station - Luo Si Wan - I recommend you do Not go in a sleeper bus as they are Not clean and there is a lot of stealing on the sleeper buses. If you have time you can break it up and enjoy the trip and stop in Mojiang, Puer, then Jinhong, then take the bus to Mengla.

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.

It is impossible to run an UNsustainable business model such as this across so many cities.
Even the manufacturer of the ofo bikes should be happy to get those bikes back and repair them and then sell them back to ofo.
These bikes are littering the city streets and the city should FINE ofo for littering.
