Just got back from the Police Station where I completed my new Accomodation Registration Form. Seems this policy has recently changed or is now being enforced.

I am still unable to locate the regulations for this so I have some unaswered questions. We were told that if we leave mainland China for 3 days (72 hours) or more, then we must return to the police station to fill out a new form.

There is no difference if you are here on a tourist visa or a residence permit.

If anyone has more info on this topic - please share. More to follow as I get more info.

Good question posed by mmteacher - then please tell us why you have chosen to live and work in China, and why anyone in his or her right mind would continue to remain in such a horrible place?

I am glad to hear things worked out for you. Proof that this forum does contain useful and timesaving info from time to time. So in reality, all you did was fill out a new registration form with the new passport number.

I have only used one ID and I do NOT need to have many aliases because I do not get banned as you have. You stated yourself, you had your account deleted twice because you used temp email but now you also use temp email and you have not neen banned.

So it is very clear that you were not banned because of temp email but rather because of your offensive online behavior. Like making attacking comments to people you do not know when they are NOT directing their comments to you directly. Time to grow up and maybe its time for you to look up Maslow and learn something about your immature behavior.
