The house is registered in my english name - same as my passport. be carefull when asking for advice on this site as many people here love to ASSume and guess and give their opinions.

This is because I am a Marine and I believe in KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid - The address I listed is much easier to find than this address - either way - they are in the same bldg and you can enter from either door.
I am personally going through this process right now and I will report all my findings here. I have been living in China for more than 12 years and I am on my third passport so I want to get this done now - Better safe than sorry!
Step 1 - Fingerprints - There are 2 different offices located in the same bldg (7 + 9 floors) that do the fingerprint card. The bldg is called the HEB Tower (Hua Er Bei) and is located on the corner of Huguo Road + Baoshan Street. The address is 215 Baoshan Street. This is the same bldg you go to when you buy a house in Kunming.
7 Floor - Guo Xin Notary - 6310-5998 -
9 Floor - Ming Xin Notary - 6331-9333 - I think this office is better than Guo Xin because the fingerprint cards are in both english and chinese. Guo Xin only has chinese and you must pay more for english.
Price: 150 RMB for chinese notary - 205 RMB for Chinese + English Notary - 10 RMB for an additional copy.
This is just a notary of a fingerprint card so there is no need to pay more for english. The fingerprint card is already in BOTH english and chinese. The fingerprint card is required for the 2nd step which is getting the background check. This process takes about 30 minutes and you must return in 1 hour to receive your documents.
Need: Original passport and original (most recent) police registration with current address.
Working Hours: 0900 - 1200 + 1300 - 1700
Step 2 - PSB - 7th Floor - Stay tuned and I will report the PSB findings tomorrow so please be patient and do not fill this thread with ridiculous questions.

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.

Ask a smoker how much they pay for a pack of cigs and ask them how much they smoke each day/week/month. Then you can figure out the cost of their addiction and how they are selfishly stealing from their own family!

发布者I friend took me to an Indian Casino on a reservation when I lived in Southern Cali. I was amazed at the cigarette smoking, alcohol drinking, and how so many people repeatedly went to break a $100.00 so they can continue with their gambling addictions.
On another ocassion I went to a Bingo Hall. My god, I was overwhelmed trying to blot out the numbers on just 2 Bingo cards and I could not believe how the Obese (food addicts) women with a cigarette (Tobacco addict) in their mouth could blot the numbers on 20+ Bingo cards (Gambling addict) while simultaneously stuffing donuts and apple fritters in their mouths.
