The crisis involving Rohingya refugees have dominated so much of the news headlines, many may have overlooked the plight of other ethnicity groups entrenched in Myanmar's Kachin conflicts resulting in tens of thousands of Burmese asylum seeking refugees to traverse into Yunnan in years past. If the case, the influx of Kachin refugees in Yunnan may have been included in the 2020 census, notwithstanding their obscure, legal status.
Perhaps a pack of hungry tigers would prefer to devour it raw as the main feast, lol. Moreover, raw pork may not sit well with Chinese families given recent scare of African swine fever outbreak.

Too many undocumented drowning incidences of dragging ashore loved ones without a pulse, rarely reach pulse of nation. Drowning occurrences are particularly pronounced among beach-goers amidst China's travel boom across SE Asia & beyond.
Mandatory swimming courses & tests need to be implemented by the education ministry as a high-school graduation requirement. Greater budget allocation for swimming facilities would be helpful in that regards.
It's possible Neolithic period, which began 10,000BC and ending as late as 2,000BC in this part of the world, could overlap with the Bronze age (3,000 - 1,200BC)?
If you look closely at my first picture link, the temporary housing and storage facilities are actually where the previous public spaces of Dongfeng Plaza were located.
Once the Eye of Spring towers are built to its South, that open space will return in full glory. Locals and visitors alike will dance again in "friendly & funky" hand-holding circles to traditional Yunnan folk songs.
I believe President Xi embraces the symbiotic evolution of the old and new.
