Piggyback off your above-mentioned Pan Long River/Green Lake proximity, Kunming Zoo opens early in the morning and offers elevation nuances without the normal traffic. Annual zoo pass costs only ~100rmb for that quiet & spacious morning run privilege.

My share for a fellow runner..

"Running with Mindfulness" (audiobook) for your running/listening pleasures:

@GoKunming

Great share! Word of caution, there's no encryption option for free users sending sensitive info... moreover, public file download link is generated in lieu of a private one. To safeguard files, consider upgrading to "WeTransfer Plus" service. Cracking password-protected compressed files (e.g. RAR and ZIP) is relatively easy.

All of us here hope your IT dept. go to great lengths to protect our accounts.

The Guardian link you provided was published in March of last year. The updated Guardian story on this was published just 11 days ago:

www.theguardian.com/[...]

"Zhang Weichao, a Sichuan official involved in the park planning, told the state-run China Daily the agreement would help alleviate poverty among the 170,000 people living within the project’s proposed territory."

Whether or not rural inhabitants receive assistance depends on how strict the state monitors & enforces the allocation of funds at the provincial/local level, otherwise, mere lip service or worse... a repeat of Wenchuan '08 misappropriation of funds.

In addition to protecting the environment, President Xi promises to tackle poverty in rural China, as well as corruption.

So we'll see.

This reserve may border northwestern Yunnan.

One silver lining in Xi's unanimous second-term vote is that he's got the back of the environment & wildlife...

if pandas could vote, they'd reelect him for a 3rd term in '23, bamboo stamping notwithstanding.

OP's above-mentioned weakness in the body could be precursors to more serious health risks such as infections, stroke, or heart attack. Best check the usual vital signs, e.g. blood pressure and pulse rates before jumping to conclusions.

On my Mobike app, there's a section displaying your Mobike score. In it, a link to a description page on "How can I increase my Mobike Score?" In the second part on "Safe Riding," item three caught my attention:

"3. Cooperate with traffic police; do not abandon the bike and run if approached."

Tongue-in-cheek jab at Man United Red Devils alludes to grains of truth. Beyond high tea and croquet, northern UK is plagued by rough neighborhoods, particularly in the Greater Manchester region where football is their main source of escape & pride.

However "uncivilized" Kunming may be labelled, it's a much safer place to dilly-dally after midnight than over there, not to speak of vulnerable targets like shared bikes.

Mobike should've researched the Clockwork Orange-like hooligan youth culture in Greater Manchester prior to entering that market.

Manchester United ranks #1 in the Premier League for...
