@yankee00 Maybe your right but the milk has a wide range there packaged as from Germany, France etc so it seems it'd be a bit of a big deception on there part. But yes Kunmings position being what it is then it has to cost more to import :(

Talking of your imported food prices they do seem high, I get milk (12rmb), cereal (roughly 30rmb - nice selection) just near the kia school at the carrefour and I know the other stuff you mentioned is cheaper there to just can't remember price.

Anything else carrefour don't do I always get from taobao, like the marmite I got today lol.

To me it seems Shanghai is definitely more expensive on imported foods

Wouldn't think air purifiers are needed indoors but maybe I'm being naive! Hope someones got a real good answer for that..... Mind you my wife did just get one as she's pregnant lol

It seems OK to me here, I lived in London previously as my comparison.

Feels very westernised living near KIA, easy to forget your in China if you don't dwell on it ;) Only time it always needs to come to mind is when on the roads lol.

Agree with all tigers post but would add for kids I think some kind of activity group needed for them to join, maybe the school can help? Apart from that I just see a few kids playing basketball or similar.

I went there for a meal this week not expecting to much as I had been let down by every other western food restaurant that I'd tried. But I was surprised and ate a very enjoyable meal with a wide range of selections to choose from. I'm looking forward to going back as it has many Italian favourites of mine on the menu that I'm looking forward to eating :)

Definitely now my favourite western restaurant in Kunming!
