the zoo is unspeakably depressing. but Yuantong amusement park itself is nice for kids
Luolong park is pretty wonderful, big, never crowded. Actually Chenggong is full of nice and spacious parks, with lots of wildlife. Easy to find, either side of Chunrong station
to concur with the topic though, I do get paid about 50% to 75% more than the Chinese workers on my level in the same company, so yes, it is unfair and inequality...but I guess Chinese people in China aren't as scarce a commodity

what a great place, just a short walk from the subway station but looks like a hidden wonderland in the middle of the forest.
always cool people and cheap drinks, best parties in kunming!
good selection of drinks, and decent crowd on weekends
best reggae/rock live music bar in all kunming. cheap drinks as well. and a nice lounge outside
