The KIA orchestra is made up of students and staff from Kunming International Academy. The school has had an orchestra since 2008. They have performed in various venues around Kunming, in other cities in China including Chengdu and Dali, as well as overseas in Hungary, and the Czech Republic.

Currently the student members range from 10-18 years old. During this concert, the orchestra will play traditional Christmas music and popular Christmas music as well as 2 classical concertos featuring 2 soloists from our student members. The conductor is Justin Li, a member of the Kunming Nieer orchestra.
