Forums > Living in Kunming > Chinese family wants do adopt my son

Due to child trafficking and custody laws, it can be a big problem to travel internationally, alone with a child, without a release from the non traveling parent. This needs to be officially translated and notarized and should be in English and Chinese as well as the language of the countries that you want to travel to. You may have an easier time if your child is blond and blue eyed, unlikely due to genetics, but possible. My wife and I,traveling as a couple with our 17 year old son, have had to provide proof of kinship, here inside China, when traveling near (not over) the borders. We have to provide a officially translated and notarized statement from his biological father to take him out of the country.

Why not ask the question directly instead of trying to figure out somebody else business, but since you're "trying" to figure it out, let's do some basic math...If Teacher_Ashley and her husband each taught 8 1 hour classes/wk at 100 RMB/hr, they would bring in 6400 RMB/mo between the 2 of them. With the going rate of English teachers at 100-150 RMB/hr, a person teaching 20 hours a week would have a weekly salary of 2000-3000 RMB. That works out to 8000-12000/month.Easily more than enough for one person (or even a family) to live comfortably, especially if you have some school or company footing the bill for your apartment, insurance, airfare, etc.Even if you freelance teaching English (illegally) with no benefits, you would still be living comfortably and be working a pretty short work week.

Well O...Pretty rough.
Personally, I think the electric shock collars work better. Much more discreet than beating your dog. Buy one appropriate to your dogs size unless you want it fried.
