Updating this topic:

HuoLala (货拉拉- 拉货搬家) is a intra/inter town moving company growing in nationwide popularity. Their variety of vehicles, slapped with their orange logo, are ever more conspicuous in Kunming as well.

Order their services via their app, which has over 50 million downloads in one app store alone. Look for them on your Chinese mobile app store, though not Play Store?

Different sizes of vehicles can be selected according to your specific need. Over tens of millions of Huolala drivers at your fingertips, 365 days a year.

The word on the street is they are cheaper and more efficient than traditional moving companies with branches outside the Mainland in Asia such as Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Taipei, and HK.

Has anyone tried them?

There were cases in the news where foreigners adopted Chinese orphans and raised them back in home country to a life of servitude , or worse.

Stricter screening policies were emplaced for foreigners applying for Chinese adoptions since. Strangely, parents being overweight was one the factors for denying applicants.

What Kunming need are specialized feet doctors such as in the field of podiatry. Over two dozens bones and soft tissues frequently overlooked by untrained eyes in sports related injuries, and injuries sustained by elders.

Also, learning Chinese on the side may help in your career endeavors. Good luck Artur!

That is quite an important development, and not just limited to holiday travel.

I wonder if this policy has more to due with technicalities of automatic airport customs via facial recognition by China-born dual citizenship identities in their database waiting to be ironed out....

or for economics, to curb birth tourism and money outflow, particularly to rival nations that recognize birthright citizenry....

or for party interests, to tighten harness of own citizens for motherland ideology preservation, given hk fallout....

or for politics, like a diplomatic whip to punish UK only, in relation to above interference?

Eastern medicine like acupuncture is actually integrated as one of the physical therapy regimens in forefront sports medicine as adopted in modern professional sports to expedite recovery of injured athletes, i.e. those with sprained or torn ACL (accompanying plasma therapy) or suffered various leg related or back injuries.

So i'd sanguinely put Chinese medicine in the wellness recup category if prescribed as treatment for a broken leg with collateral nerve/muscle/tendon/ligament issue.

Perhaps OP is stating that Yunnan 中医 is among "most advanced in the world" in terms of Chinese med, due to plethora supplies of raw, herbal medicinals originating from South of Clouds? Granted big pharma has their hands in the powder jar here as well.

It's funny you mention this lemon. Keen observation. I also noticed most are white-headed with a black dot in earlier months, but in February many appear black headed.

Either these black dots grow to cover entire face after a few months here, or the black-headed gulls arrive much later and stay for a shorter duration. My hunch is the former.

Thank you for the beautiful photographs Fabio. We look forward to more Yunnan culture, wildlife, and landscape through your lens. Happy journeys with Vera.

Whether snow leopards, yaks, llamas, or these funky monkeys, the sheer amount of fur these guys sport at cold, high altitudes speaks volume of evolutionary natural selection and adaptivity of our mammalian kins.

But Carl also spins breakbeat, which is a mixture of funk, jazz and R&B. So Detroit techno shouldn't be the sole answer as that limits his range. Darn, I was hoping to win this. Next time.

Since we're on the subject of Hang Lung Spring 66, Crystal Jade Golden Palace restaurant on the 6th floor may be worth a visit after experiencing TeamLab on the 2nd floor.

Their sister restaurant in Singapore received a Michelin one star:

Acclaimed dishes are their BBQ pork (炒烧肉) hung on racks. The dongpo meat (东坡肉) looks succulent. The sweet sour pinnaple fried and cooked fish is also tasty. Portions of other dishes like steamed eggplants are quite generous and delicious as well. A group of staffers can be seen preparing steamed pork buns (小笼包) behind see-through glass.

If you're closer to Nanya mall, Crystal Jade has a store there too, I think. And another one somewhere else in Kunming.

Our new editor is on a roll. Pumping out articles seemly every few days. We appreciate your super work ethic. Thank you!

This TeamLab future amusement park looks like a place where children would enjoy. Per Vera's descriptions, an unique interactive medium to unleash your child's creativity. Heck, the kid in me would be just as giddy. Being immersed in all that glow in dark black light is already enough to wow me, let alone DIY art works animated into life and interacting with others. Pretty cool.

For parents thinking about where to take their hyperactive kids with too much pent up energy, the new Aegean Shopping Mall on Baiyun Road No. 168 features a sizable ice skating ring with ice hockey classes what not. Also, another enormous two storey jungle cage with zip lines, trampolines, and assortment of bouncy objects & balls, and challenging climbing obstacles to satisfy the inner ape in all of us.
