Forums > Living in Kunming > Bank of America and China Construction Bank I have BoA and regularly use CCB for cash withdrawal. To the best of my knowledge, there is an initial (I think 5USD) foreign withdrawal fee that is waived, but after that you still must pay the 3% transaction fee. TBH I'm pretty disappointed with BoA's policies abroad, will likely switch cards when I go back to the states.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Metro lines today? Apparently there was some kind of mafan at the metro stations today causing huge queue lines...anyone know what that was about and/or if it's going to continue?
Forums > Living in Kunming > Options for residence permit extension Thanks, all! I will be getting a passport renewal soon, and hopefully able to transfer my working visa/residence permit within the 10day timeframe.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Options for residence permit extension I've heard that sometimes companies can provide a one-month temporary extension to residence permit after expiry. Anyone know anything about this? Asking bc after obtaining my residence permit, I no longer have blank pages in my passport, so can't renew it...too much trouble to get a new passport as the number would change--chain reaction requiring me to reapply for work visa etc all over again.
(Please note: I know that you can renew residence permit up to two times for a year, but am asking for this specific scenario, thanks in advance!)
Forums > Living in Kunming > Dounan Flower Market thanks for all the tips! I guess final verdict is that it's worth a visit(:
