Anyone interested doing a Yunnan wide fantasy premiership league though fantasy.premierleague.com/? should be good fun and a chance to find some people to watch a match or two with. If I get some positive feedback, I'll try to have one up in the next couple days with information on how to join.
Hey uhhhhh, I left my Chinese guzheng (the big as harp looking thing) at uprock right before it closed after playing there one night... is it safe to say there is no hope for getting it back? If getting it back is possible, I would deffinitely offer a reward due to the inconvience.
Yeah auctually most Dai places will have at least 2-3 kinds of insects for you to choose from.... may I reccomend the bamboo maggots or the grasshopper's. I know of at least three places that deffinitely have a few choices, including a Dai place right off Taoyuanjie, (near Yuantong temple and the big bridge) a dai place that is on the food street if you turn left after going straight on the street across from Minzu daxue, and finally on xinwen lu in Kundu closer to Xichang lu, there is a shaokao place that sells some insects. If you need some more information because you're new, send me a message and ill give you my number.
I found a pair of descent quality fake Teva's in a tourist goods store once right near fuxian lake, but I don't suppose they're worth the trip. Otherwise I've had no luck inside Kunming.(I have a size 45 though so purchasing shoes is almost impossible) If I were you, I'd just hop on my bike and cruise around near the northern part of Qingnianlu and Taoyuanjie, tons of stores sell those kinds of maybe fake, maybe not shoes and clothes. (It's right near that 20+ story building that was wastefully built and then not allowed to be used because it overlooked a military base) You're best bet may be the place you least expect.
สวัสดีครับ! Went there for the first time today and had the Red Curry and a Thai milk tea. Twas awesome and definitely worth a visit for those who are craving authentic Thai flavor.
Lost Garden's kitchen has became a Saratrical masterpiece! Great tea just the way it should be made, combined with tangy and titilating specialties from the south of the US, South of the border, and beyond! Rooftop is Kunmings top place to catch some rays and chill out with a book or some buddies and booze. Look forward to menu expansion and much love to the mastermind chef in the Kitchen!
Revolutionary in the grand scheme of food options for health nuts and herbivores in Kunming. From some spicy fresh spring rolls to rockin' lentil curries, a great option for anyone who likes healthy and unique!
After somewhat of an 'As You Like' hiatus, caused by work and life in general, I was lucky enough to find some time for a latte and a mushroom and cream calzone at lunch today. The place has continued to improve in both the categories of taste and general quality. Those who haven't been, I would say it is in your best interest to make an effort to find the place and if you are in the Wenlinjie/wenhuaxiang area, you'll discover its right under your nose. Great place to chill, relax, and get away from the traffic, noise, and distractions that Kunming brings your way.
