Forums > Living in Kunming > 1 Yuan Bill - Interesting!

Several times people have tried to steer this thread back on track, but it seems there's no getting through to Americans.

Yes I once had a note like that, but hey what about when us Americans invaded Iraq.

Yes I know a good Italian restaurant in that part of the city, let me tell you the address right after I have told you about the tax rules in the state of Alabama for the year 1974.

Yes, I'd like to see that exibit at the Kunming museum, do you know what the weather is like in Tennessee today?, no? well let me tell you...

I know about that airport bus ..... USA! USA! USA! Wooooooo! Yehaah Yeehaah!! Gun law!! Gun law!!, Obama Obama!!

Can you bang another drum now please.

Doesnt sound like it.

Sounds like you're in a dark room tinkling over the net all day and throwing tantrums when you cant enter your gimp fanatics sites.

That's why you'll never be allowed in front of kids.

Leave your arrogance at the door when you post here, how about that one?

I'm just responding to your post.

I'm well aware it isn't Zimbabwe.

I won't be making a 'Freedom Run' I'm not arsed I can't get on Facebook, I'm not a self obsessed teenager. I've never had a problem banking, I can do it by phone if I ever do. I've booked countless tickets online and never had an issue. Never really used Youtube and I'm not even sure what other sites are blocked, so they can't be that important to me too.

Or were you only expecting people to say 'Get me to Burma, the internet doesnt work here.'

Something interesting is that I was in Britain recently and some of the Chinese sites that I use were blocked there, perhaps there are Chinese over there pondering the same sort of 'Freedom Run'

At the same time more fool a plane full of people who when realising this could delay their flight, didn't stick their ore in and say "there's a plane full of people here who have paid money and want to fly to wherever and get on with our days, but we can't because you two shitbags think you're a bit special."

Same goes for the airplane staff, then the security, police have had to get involved in a lovers tiff and the plane has been delayed because no one wanted to do anything outside of their remit.

About that entry point - as far as I know Schengen visas will be issued for the first country of entry (Which would be France on the Paris trip) OR the Euopean country you plan to spend most time in. So, providing you wanted to stay in Czechoslovakia for most of the time, this visa would be useful. Check this though as I used that method around 5 years ago. If it's no longer available to do that then a transfer (Paris to Prague) would be the solution. No?
